Mark thoughts about stepping back into the role of Luke Skywalker for an episode of The Mandalorian were among the revelations in a Disney Gallery special devoted to the episode. A brand new Disney+ special focused on the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian has shared a behind-the-scenes look at how the team brought back Luke Skywalker and kept him secret using Jedi Master. He discussed a handful of these highlights, including “geeking out” with Rosario Dawson and listening to Mark Hamill tell stories on set. He shared his gratitude on Instagram several days after the episode aired on Disney+. The actor who played Luke in the original films was Mark Hamill, and the 69-year-old featured in the finale of The Mandalorian, but not as fans would expect. The trailer finally confirmed a young Luke Skywalker, made famous by Mark Hamill in the Star Wars Saga, would feature in the limited event series, while Vivian Lyra Blair’s ( Bird Box) reported. Hamilton, who has been a Star Wars fan since childhood, was beyond thrilled to work with Hamill, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and the rest of the episode’s cast and crew to bring Return of the Jedi-era Luke to life once more. Yet The Mandalorian Season 2 finale gave viewers just that - and treated them to an even more polished version in Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett thanks to actor Graham Hamilton.
